Gabby Logan introduces the action as stars including Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Laura Muir compete in one of the most prestigious events on the global indoor athletics calendar.
Johnson-Thompson won heptathlon gold at last year鈥檚 World Championships, defeating her great rival Nafissatou Thiam to secure a first global outdoor title. The 27-year-old will be targeting Olympic success this summer so will be eager to begin 2020 in style.
Muir, meanwhile, runs in the final event of the afternoon, the women鈥檚 1000m. The Scottish middle-distance star, who is based in Glasgow, will be roared on by the home crowd as she seeks to break the world record over this distance.
