Shoppers who are having problems finding meat, fruit and vegetables because of the Coronavirus pandemic are turning to companies which would normally only supply restaurants, on a wholesale basis. Smaller wholesale suppliers are changing their business models to meet the demand. But larger companies are less able to do so, and there are fears that some may fold. We hear from wholesalers, big and small, as they try to adapt to the current crisis.

The number of people making or updating their wills has increased by 70% according to the Law Society. With the effects of the pandemic expected to peak in the next few weeks, there are calls for the Government to make the process simpler.

The lockdown is affecting the mental health of many people in the UK, with two reports out this week showing significant increases in adults reporting anxiety and depression. So how do people cope if they have existing mental health problems and now find themselves isolated because of the Coronavirus.

It should have been the Grand National this Saturday - but it is one of many major sporting events cancelled due to the pandemic. Yet a Grand National race WILL go ahead and it will be broadcast on mainstream television. We hear how virtual sport is proving popular to a nation of sport-hungry viewers.
