The Best of A View from the Terrace

An irreverent look at the world of Scottish football, from the top of the pile to the dogfights. It means everything, it means nothing and it looks like this from the terrace.

We may be missing it just now, but Scottish football is glorious, and with that in mind Craig G Telfer has looked out his best togs to lead us into the A View From the Terrace archives.

Starting with Away Away, we join Borders side Hawick Royal Albert United as they try to make it big in Rugbyland.

In Big Team Found, the lads slap on their scarves and adopt their new favourite sides. Joel and Fowler square up in a Hibernian v Aberdeen battle before Telfer and Shaughan follow Hamilton Accies and Livingston respectively.

We meet those behind the BSC Glasgow Scottish cup dream as they work out, with a tiny part-time group of staff, how you go about hosting Premiership giants Hibernian in the biggest game of their short history in Punchin'.

In Club Shop, Robert Borthwick reminds us that sometimes it’s better just to stay at home than hit the shops, as we take a look at Scottish football’s best Crimbo tat.

Away Days are braw, and when the season’s back we’ll all be packing out buses across the land. In a nod to those halcyon days, we join Raith Rovers supporters as they make the long trek north to Peterhead.

In Are You on the Couch Because…, the boys have to work out who has taken up residence between Telfer and Joel before hearing his incredible story.

Duncan and Duncan ride again in Put a Shift In as they head to Arbroath to assist during the day’s matchday hospitality at Gayfield; but who exactly is Mark Whatley and how hot was that room?

How do you get from Aberdeen to Friends via Ryan Christie? Shaughan shows us how in Six Degrees of Bobby Linn.

Remember, they will be back, but just in case you need a fix, we take a look at our favourite day of the week in One Saturday.

The show ends with Last Minute Winner, as Raith Rovers fan David Latto ensures there will be only one name on your lips, as he smashes out the Kirkcaldy club’s iconic anthem Geordie Munro.

It’s wild, it’s remote and the pitch is sloped & bumpy.
