10/04/20 Voluntary food effort in East Yorkshire

As his rural East Yorkshire community comes to terms with the Coronavirus pandemic, chef Gerard Baker takes part in a large scale effort to get food to people most in need.

In Farming Today on Good Friday, we hear from chef and reporter Gerard Baker. Gerard lives in a small village in East Yorkshire, where he has been volunteering to deliver vital food supplies to vulnerable people in his community. In this programme, Gerard records his journey to the nearby town of Withernsea where he speaks to the local people who have quickly adapted community cafes and local businesses to provide food and resources as we all adapt to the 'new normal'.

Presented by Gerard Baker.
