07/04/20 Dairy farmers are having to dump their milk due to coronavirus drop in demand

We hear from a dairy farmer who has had to pour 3,000 litres of milk in his slurry tank.

We hear from Kent dairy farmer Robin Betts who's had to dump 3000 litres of milk as waste into his slurry tank. The company that buys it didn鈥檛 turn up to collect it from him, and numerous other dairy farmers at the weekend. It comes at a time when milk prices for farmers are dropping dramatically and some wholesale buyers are delaying payment because of a decline in sales to the hospitality industry, due to the COVID19 outbreak.
