The museum contains artefacts from Britain’s seafaring history, from the age of Walter Raleigh to more recent times. It also has its very own ship to explore – the world-famous tea clipper Cutty Sark.

Can museums and the historical objects they contain inspire kids brought up in an age of tech. Are they still relevant in the 21st century?
