You and Yours reports on new research which suggests that young people who frequently use scratchcards, play the Lottery and arcade games are much more likely to become gambling addicts. The study by a team of four UK psychologists says there's a strong link between playing these games and having problems that carry on into adulthood. The Gambling Commission, the regulator, also says there are now more children in the UK gambling than using e-cigarettes, smoking or taking illegal drugs.
Around 55,000 children have an addiction and that figure has quadrupled in three years. We speak to Dr Stephen Sharman, a psychologist at the University of East London and one of the authors of the new paper. We also hear from Danny Cheetham, a former gambling addict, and have responses to the research from the government and the gambling industry.

As we approach the end of the seventh week of lockdown, we look for new inspiration from people who already know what it's like to be live in extreme isolation. We hear from Mark Beaumont, an athlete who holds the world record for circumnavigation of the globe by bicycle, and Justine Evans, a British wildlife filmmaker and presenter.
