Comedian Will Hislop on his lockdown viral videos, and online sitcom NuMedia.

Poet Hamish MacDonald explains how the work of 19th century ornithologist Alexander Wilson has inspired his new collection Burds in Scots, and talks about writing in Scots.

Playwright David Greig and Pitlochry Theatre’s Elizabeth Newman talk about Adventures with the Painted People – a new work by David which will premiere on Sunday 7 June on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 3 as part of the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Arts' Culture in Quarantine season. Originally commissioned by Pitlochry Festival Theatre as part of the Shades of Tay project, the play was set to have its stage premiere in Pitlochry in July 2020. Post lockdown, it was picked up by Radio 3, and the play will appear in Pitlochry’s 2021 season.

And as part of this week’s check-ins with Scottish arts organisations, Elizabeth and David discuss the challenges they face as Artistic Directors of a theatre, and the impact of the coronavirus crisis on Scotland’s theatre community.
