Episode 9: An overture from Echo & the Bunnymen

This week there's a sparkly night out at the discotheque courtesy of your auditory cortex and music from George Harrison, Feist and Phoebe Bridgers.

Musician and composer Hannah Peel delves into her vast record collection to play music elevated by the use of an orchestral ensemble - big or small. This week, familiar acts such as Echo & the Bunnymen, Feist and Bee Gees are heard alongside some incredible female voices - Hilary Woods, Judee Sill and Pheobe Bridge, hip hop legend MF DOOM and a bunch of unfamiliar acts responsible for some lost gems. Just as long as there's strings, brass, woodwind (or all of the above) - it belongs on this - the perfect Sunday afternoon playlist!
