The Afternoon Show continues to check in with different areas of our currently beleaguered arts scene; today Janice talks to the Director of Modern and Contemporary Art at National Galleries of Scotland, Simon Groom, about how they are coping with having to keep their doors closed to visitors. Later in the programme she talks to writer and Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 3 presenter Kate Molleson and cellist with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra Su-a Lee about the challenges- and opportunities- currently facing the classical music scene.

People are still Making a Difference to those around them; Debbie Barnett from the Donor Milk Bank talks to Janice about how they’ve managed to keep going through the Covid crisis with the help of their volunteers – including Nick, a volunteer driver who describes his role as ‘milkman with a difference’.
