Stacey Dooley chats to some of Walford鈥檚 biggest stars, reliving their most memorable moments, sharing juicy behind-the-scenes gossip and revealing some of the soap鈥檚 best-kept secrets.

Gillian Taylforth and Adam Woodyatt, who play mother and son Kathy and Ian Beale, call each other 鈥楳um鈥� and 鈥楽on鈥� off-screen. They tell all about their unique working relationship and 35-year friendship, and why it wasn鈥檛 unusual for Adam to turn up at Gillian鈥檚 house for food at 2am.

As they take a trip down memory lane, they each reveal their own stories behind Ian and Kathy鈥檚 biggest scenes 鈥� from Gillian鈥檚 nerves whilst filming Kathy鈥檚 shock return from the dead to the real reason Adam had to wear a hat throughout Ian鈥檚 homeless storyline.

Adam tells the story of their very first meeting during rehearsals in 1984, Gillian reveals who Kathy鈥檚 favourite son is, and the duo relive a classic Doof-Doof moment from the show鈥檚 early days. The pair also look to the future and tease what鈥檚 in store for Ian and Kathy when EastEnders returns in the autumn.

Stacey also gets an exclusive tour of 45 Albert Square 鈥� better known as the home of the Beale family, and previously the Fowlers 鈥� where the trio reminisce about some of the biggest moments to have taken place on the iconic set.
