Steve speaks to Willie J Healey and plays an exclusive new track from his new album Twin Heavy, ahead of its release on Friday.

Twin Heavy is Willie's second album, following his debut People and Their Dogs, released in 2017. From Oxfordshire, he worked as a plasterer with his dad around their hometown of Carterton before he got signed to Columbia Records. Now working with Felix White's YALA! Records, Willie describes his new record as a "70s orgy" combining influences such as Neil Young, Iggy Pop and George Harrison. The albums features the singles True Stereo and Fashun, both of which have been supported on 6 Music.
