Edinburgh Festivals Special with Courtney Act, Brian May, Karen and Katy Koren, Jess Brough and Shona McCarthy

Grant looks to the future of the Fringe and reflects on what we're missing this year with Chief Executive Shona McCarthy and stars Brian May, Jason Donovan and Le Gateau Chocolat.

Grant Stott hosts our second Edinburgh Festivals Special talking to some of the people about their revised plans for the world’s biggest arts festival, including Australian drag queen, pop singer and reality TV star, Courtney Act and up-and-coming Megan Shandley, both taking part in the digital streaming event Fringe on a Friday. He’ll also find out about the online offerings from Jess Brough and Fringe of Colour – which will have played host to over 40 films made by People of Colour throughout August, and SHED-inburgh from Fleabag producer Francesca Moody and playwright Gary McNair and he’ll head out into the strangely quiet streets of Edinburgh to speak to guests including Karen and Katy Koren, managing directors of Gilded Balloon about the company's plans for this year and also Chief Executive of the Edinburgh Fringe Shona McCarthy about how the overall Festival has tried to provide entertainment and support for acts this year.
