With a guest mix from Vienna based recording artist, DJ and producer Sofie. She's just released her self-produced debut album, Cult Survivor, which she describes as a collection of leftfield pop songs inspired by chanson, heartbreak and life’s overwhelming decisions.
She started learning the violin at just four years old, and although she won a place to study at the prestigious Vienna Conservatoire, she decided to leave the course early to live between Los Angeles, New York and London.
She started working in the electronic music scene and worked at Stones Throw records for four years.
For family reasons she moved back to Vienna and there, isolated from her musical community, she began to write her own songs, which eventually led to the new album.
