Mary visits Stonehenge, where she meets leading creative voices, including Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller. Mary explores which cultural forms are the winners and losers of the pandemic.

With a new title, and a new regular slot, Mary Beard鈥檚 topical arts series (formerly Lockdown Culture) returns. This time, Mary is venturing out from her home study, and her first stop is Stonehenge, a British cultural icon she has revered since she was a child. Mary has rare access to the stone circle, where she is meeting leading creative voices, including Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller and one of Britain鈥檚 best known actors, Vanessa Redgrave.

With her usual wit and probing curiosity, Mary explores which cultural forms are the winners and losers of the pandemic.
