Ian Rankin, film reviews, and Black History Month

Grant Stott talks Ian Rankin about his new book A Song For the Dark Times, and Jess Brough from Fringe of Colour is the Afternoon Show's first Guest Editor for Black History Month

Grant speaks to Ian Rankin about his latest Rebus novel, A Song For the Dark Times.

To celebrate Black History Month, five Guest Editors will join the show through October, and today Jess Brough joins Grant to share their cultural highlights, take over the playlist, and shine a light on some of their favourite artists, musicians and podcasters. Jess is the founder of Fringe of Colour, an Edinburgh-based multi-award-winning arts initiative which had its first online arts festival in August this year.

And in today's film reviews, critics Amber Wilkinson and Ross Maclean give their thoughts on On the Rocks, Eternal Beauty, and O Brother Where Art Thou.
