Today, Singer, songwriter and Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Peknold shares his 'First, Last and Everything' - that鈥檚 the first record he owned, the most recent one he鈥檚 enjoyed and the record that means 鈥榚verything鈥� to him. He reveals the very first record he bought as an 8-year-old and discusses his love of Marvin Gaye鈥檚 music.

Robin also chats about the recent surprise release of Fleet Foxes鈥� fourth album 鈥楽hore鈥�. Robin started writing the album in September 2018, at the end of a 170-show tour. A number of the songs were written during a month long trip to rural Portugal. By February this year, Pecknold felt lost with the album as he hadn鈥檛 yet written lyrics he felt comfortable with. It wasn鈥檛 until June, when he started taking day-long drives during lockdown, that he found the inspiration for the lyrics he鈥檚 been searching for over the last two years.

Hailing from Seattle, Fleet Foxes formed in 2006 and released their self-titled debut record two years later, which was followed by 2011鈥檚 Grammy nominated Helplessness Blues. Their third record, Crack-Up, followed in 2017.
