Sir Geoff Palmer and Stewart Kyasimire review 'Small Axe'; an arts project in Dumfries and Galloway reflecting on this extraordinary year and marking Scottish Interfaith Week.

Award winning director, Steve McQueen’s ‘Small Axe’ collection of films document stories from London’s West Indian community. Mangrove, the first in the collection, premieres on Ö÷²¥´óÐã One and tells the story of the highly publicised Mangrove Nine court case in 1970. Stewart Kyasimire, a Black Scottish filmmaker, and Sir Geoff Palmer, academic and Human Rights Campaigner, give their verdict.

The Africa in Motion Film Festival has gone on-line this year. Filmmaker Stewart Kyasimire and Director of Africa in Motion, Liz Chege, discuss the importance of a festival like this in challenging stereotypes on the big screen, especially against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter movement.
