The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman has upheld over 90% of complaints from families with children who have special educational needs. We'll hear from the mother of one boy, they've been awarded 拢20,000 compensation due to repeated failings on the part of their council. Her son missed years of school education, and at one point the council rented an old fish and chip shop to school him in as they'd run out of other options.
Many of us have memories of our parents or grand parents wearing long johns under their clothes in winter. In 2020 thermal undergarments have made a come back. Socially distanced outdoor gatherings, and working from home through the winter has led to increased sales. M&S say ladies thermal clothing sales have increased by 190%. We'll hear about the appeal of thermal from one of it's oldest suppliers, Damart.
We've become more reliant than ever on home deliveries, for food and online shopping. What's this year been like for delivery drivers? We'll hear from some of the people making sure your Christmas shopping arrives.
