The Rt Rev Martin Fair, moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, looks back on 2020 through the work of Peter and Heidi Gardner, who are making a six-foot wreath made of rosemary. Sprigs of the herb have been sent to them from all over Scotland as symbols of the sadness and loss people have experienced during this year of the pandemic. Their project, Scented Lament, represents putting the past behind us and looking forward.
