Episode 1

With lost time to catch up on after lockdown, and livelihoods on the line, the Newquay fleet are steaming into a summer like no other.

It’s summer in Newquay, but you wouldn’t know it. Cornwall’s most popular tourist resort has been in lockdown for months.

With its reliance on tourism, some are predicting Newquay could be economically the worst-hit English town as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

With lost time to catch up on, and livelihoods on the line, the fleet are steaming into a summer like no other.
