Episode 22 of 25

Five dealers bid against each other for items brought in by the public, including a 1940s ‘Hi-De-Hi’ microphone, four mid-century chairs and a vintage train set.

Nigel Havers welcomes five more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to five professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.

Vashti has four mid-century chairs that she hopes will go down a storm with our mid-century dealers. Next, David has brought in a 1940s telex microphone from an intercom system. The dealers have fun playing with it, but will anyone of them pay him what he is after? Delia is offering a vintage train set that could be on track for a great sale, but is the nostalgic factor enough to see it reach its valuation price when she meets the dealers? Neil comes from a long line of butchers and has brought a in a vintage butcher's block to tempt our buyers. Lastly, Ann is selling a UFO-shaped perspex lampshade. She hopes it will light up the dealers’ eyes, but when Melissa fashions it into a hat fit for the races, will its 'dual use' guarantee a sale?

Today's dealers are Adi, Lucy, Moses, Melissa and JB. Will any of them match – or even top – the valuation placed on each of the items?
