Talking Movies presents highlights of 2021's Sundance Film Festival, which for the first time is globally accessible. America's top independent film festival has gone largely virtual, opening up some of its slate to movie fans all around the world.

From top actresses Robin Wright and Rebecca Hall making their directorial debuts, to a slew of films touching on the pandemic, there is plenty of fare to pique audience interest. The Talking Movies team will be making their picks of recommended films as well as looking at the ambitions that screen icon Robert Redford - who co-founded Sundance - has for this year's festival.
