Oumar Toure bass player with the wildly successful Songhoy Blues, has selected his 5 favourite tracks released in the 2010s by artists from the African continent. Songhoy Blues formed in Bamako after leaving their homes during the Malian Civil conflict that began in 2012. They released their debut album Music in Exile in 2013 and played at the 6 Music Festival in Glasgow in 2017
