MacDougalls Galore!

MacDougalls Galore! Gary West explores the music of one of the great Scottish clans, makers of the Great Highland Bagpipe to one of the classic tunes of the pibroch repertoire.

The name MacDougall permeates piping in Scotland – from makers of the Stradivarius equivalent of the Great Highland Bagpipe to one of the classic tunes of the pibroch repertoire, to great players who bear that name, past and present – Gary West celebrates all of that with MacDougalls Galore! Plus there’s a trip to mainland Europe too, with piping from Brittany, Galicia and Asturias, and top performances from the Scottish Power and Shotts & Dykehead Pipe Bands.
