Mark and Stuart chat to Newcastle-based singer-songwriter Martha Hill about her latest music.

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast

Today, they are joined by Newcastle-based singer-songwriter Martha Hill. A talented multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Martha plays guitar, trombone, and percussion. She grew up grew up in Scotland but left to travel around Europe as a busker. When Martha returned to the UK, she settled in North East England and began to write a series of pop songs drawing on the influences of Little Dragon and Sylvan Esso. Her singles 'Grilled Cheese' and 'Landslide' were featured on the 6 Music playlist last year and she joins Mark and Stuart to talk about her latest music and forthcoming EP.
