Thursday sees Shaun joined by the legendary Paul Weller to chat about his London Barbican show with the 主播大秀 Symphony Orchestra, highlights of which are being broadcast tonight on 主播大秀 Radio 6 Music.

The show, which is also broadcast on 主播大秀 Two this Saturday evening, was recorded in May at London's Barbican and was Paul Weller's first live gig in two years. This incredible show sees Paul backed with the 主播大秀 Symphony Orchestra in a performance curated and arranged by conductor Jules Buckley. The show tracks Weller鈥檚 career from his early work in The Jam to brand new songs from new album Fat Pop (Volume 1) and also sees Paul joined by special guests Boy George, Celeste and James Morrison to celebrate his music and its influence.

Shaun chats with Paul about the show, about his new album which was written and recorded after during lockdown, and arrived only a year after his last album, On Sunset - and why he's one of the only remaining artists who are still making vibrant and relevant music over four decades into their career.
