Ö÷²¥´óÐã Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood talks about her newly-published debut novel, Under a Greek Moon, and how she’s hoping it will prove a perfect summer read.

Staying with books, comedian Andy Hamilton, a regular on Have I Got News For You and Radio 4's News Quiz, has literally penned a novel. Longhand has been written and published entirely in Andy’s own writing complete with crossings out and edits and it reimagines the life of immortal Greek hero Heracles, who is currently residing in contemporary Scotland as Malcolm Galbraith with his girlfriend Bess. Andy will be joining Janice to explain why he shuns the technology used by most other writers.

As festival season 2021 gets underway in a compromised fashion, Janice and guests Morvern Cunningham and Joyce McMillan will be discussing what we want for the Edinburgh Festivals’ future. Has the reset afforded to us by the pandemic given us a unique chance to shake up the status quo?

And in Tuesday Review, author Jenny Colgan and TV critic Scott Bryan will be giving us the lowdown on new dating show Sexy Beasts, comedy show Ted Lasso, about an American Football coach hired to coach a British football team and documentary Reclaiming Amy, which marks 10 years since the death of Amy Winehouse.
