New data suggests we're splashing out on socialising and holidays this summer.
Barclaycard tracks our spending, the credit card company says spend was 11.6% higher in July than the same period in 2019. Spending on non-essential items recorded its highest growth since before the first UK lockdown, rising by over ten percent.
