00s New York was the decade of The Strokes, but more importantly for an all day rave, it was the decade of DFA and Electroclash, when indie kids were wanting to dance, and so for this episode Huey will be hearing from the likes of Larry Tee, Nic Offer (Chk Chk Chk), Luke Jenner (The Rapture), Anthony Roman (Radio 4), and 2ManyDJs.

The 00s were also the decade that saw New York face its biggest trauma to date on September the 11th 2001, almost exactly 20 years ago. Huey will be asking how the events of that day impacted the city and its music scene.
