A disused sideboard is transformed into a special item for a family, and an ornate clock of huge sentimental value are among the radical transformations.

Sabrina Grant presents as a team of expert crafters transform unused objects into contemporary and functional items.

Niel and Sarah have an old sideboard that belonged to Sarah鈥檚 grandad, who rescued it from a skip in the 1950s. It has been Sarah and Niel鈥檚 since they got married, and now they have two children, they would love it to be part of family time. Carpentry experts Shelley and Daisy both try to tempt the couple with their innovative transformation designs.

Linda鈥檚 dad was into auctions and once bought a large and ornate table clock, which he adored. Now it has been passed down to Linda, whose tastes are different, but she can鈥檛 bear to get rid of something that her dad loved so much. Metal sculptor Leigh has the challenge of transforming the brass clock into something that retains its ornate origins but is more in keeping with Linda鈥檚 style.

Dave has been collecting t-shirts for decades, ones that express his identity and bring back memories. But they are taking up space, and he feels it鈥檚 time they became something else. Interior designer Rob thinks he has just the design to capture a sense of nostalgia and breathe new life into Dave鈥檚 collection.

Remaker and motorcycle fan Titch has brought in some items for Chinelo to transform: his old motorcycle racing leathers. He doesn鈥檛 race anymore, and the jackets and trousers have taken a battering, but seamstress and designer Chinelo has an idea that will turn the old leathers into something stylish that Titch can use.
