PHONE IN: FUEL SHORTAGE
The Army could begin delivering fuel by the end of the week - as the Scottish and UK Governments seek to reassures drivers about supplies. Despite calls to prioritise essential workers at the pumps Boris Johnson said he would not seek to do so because things were "stabilising". The Petrol Retailers Association (PRA) said there were "early signs" the pressure was starting to ease. The PRA, which represents nearly 5,500 of the UK's 8,000 stations, said about 37% of its sites had run out of fuel - compared with two-thirds being without on Sunday.
