Last year 225 billion people lost their jobs because of the pandemic - and women were disproportionately affected. The gender gap in the workplace that had been closing, widened, undoing decades of progress. Many experts are warning Covid has taken women back to the 1950s as they're required to take care of the house and the family. A recent survey of American women suggested 1 in 3 who left the workforce doesn't want to go back.

Hana Brixi, the Global Director for Gender at the World Bank and Julie Linn Teigland who's a leading global partner at EY discuss what can be done to get women back into the workplace and make them the leaders of tomorrow.

Also in the show, Aaron Heslehurst speaks to head of Delta Airlines, Ed Bastian, on the day the US finally re-opens its borders to foreign tourists. They discuss the long-term impact of Covid on the airline industry as well as how Delta plans to follow through on its pledge to go carbon neutral by 2050.
