David Dimbleby presents live coverage of the Remembrance Sunday commemorations from Whitehall in London.

David Dimbleby presents live coverage from the Cenotaph as representatives of the royal family, the government, the Commonwealth and the armed forces gather in Westminster for the National Service of Remembrance.

The two-minute silence at 11am is followed by wreath-laying at the foot of the Cenotaph as the nation remembers all those who died serving their country.

The march-past of veterans returns, and members of the public are once again be able to attend the event. Last year, for the first time, the service was a closed ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Horse Guards Parade, Sophie Raworth hears some of the remarkable stories of courage and sacrifice from those taking part.
