Gary West is in conversation with one of Canada's most innovative pipers and composers, and member of the first pipe band to take the world title out of Scotland, Michael Grey.

Gary West is in conversation with Canadian piper, composer, arranger and author, Michael Grey, who shares his music, stories, anecdotes and influences gathered over five decades of piping. A past member of the famous 78th Fraser Highlanders, the first band to take the world championship title out of Scotland, Michael's music is highly innovative yet steeped in the traditions of the Celtic past and present. With musical contributions from John D Burgess, Bill Livingstone, the Bothy Band, Capercaillie, and both the Toronto and Glasgow Police pipe bands, as well as from the 78th Frasers and Michael himself.
