A new exhibition inspired by the Scottish artist, George Wyllie, creator of the Clyde Clock outside Buchanan bus station, opens this month in Glasgow. His daughter Louise Wyllie, and artist Willie Sutherland join Connie to describe the showcase, described by Willie as ‘a love letter to George’.

Connie is joined by Scotland-based French journalist, Assa Samake-Roman, along with Angela Trainer, to review the moving new film from French filmmaker Celine Sciamma, Petite Maman. Like all good fairy tales it’s a parable that reflects on loss and the relationship between mothers and daughters.

This weekend Jewish Tales In Scotland, part of Edinburgh University’s Winter Tales Festival, will look at how Jewish immigrants came to Scotland over the last 200 years, bringing with them their faith, their food and their music. Event organisers, Hannah Hotschneider and Phil Alexander tell Connie how they are bringing Scottish Jewish history to life.
