Seonaid Aitken celebrates the artistry of Belgian born guitarist Django Reinhardt, who alongside violinist Stephane Grappelli formed the hugely influential Quintette du Hot Club de France. Plus a look ahead to Burns Night with a selection of Robert Burns tunes in a jazz setting and works by Miriam Makeba, Leonard Cohen, Allen Ginsberg & Bob Dylan. Richard Michael鈥檚 Song Book delves deeper into the world of Django looking at his much loved composition Swing 42. Plus we hear from Django devotee Martin Taylor who performs an exclusive version of Auld Lang Syne in the style of his hero Django Reinhardt! Plus music from Melanie De Biasio, Yaatri, Paul Towndrow & The Haggis Horns.
