The devastating humanitarian cost of the war in Ukraine is becoming ever more apparent, with the UN estimating more than a million civilians have already fled across the borders to neighbouring countries. UNICEF鈥檚 James Elder brings us the situation on the ground at the Romanian border while UNICEF鈥檚 Head Of Scotland office Lucinda Rivers and Mercy Corp interim Director for Europe Michael McKean join Connie to discuss how aid organisations are responding to the crisis.

And in this period of Lent they consider the benefits of solitary reflection.
