Child Poverty Action Group
Nine children in a classroom of 30 are growing up in poverty in the UK. Child Poverty Action Group, CPAG for short, works for a society free of child poverty, where all children can enjoy a childhood free of financial hardship and have an equal chance in life to reach their full potential. A national charity, we have made a positive difference to hundreds of thousands of children and families in poverty, since CPAG was set up in 1965.
Cost of the school day
If your family doesn鈥檛 have enough money, school life can be filled with worry. When children can鈥檛 take part because of cost, they miss out and they don鈥檛 have the same opportunities to learn.
