Seonaid Aitken chats with director David Shulman about the brand new TV documentary ‘Jacob Collier: The Room Where It Happens’ which airs this week on Ö÷²¥´óÐã One profiling the stratospheric rise of the jazz wunderkind. Jacob became an internet sensation and was taken under the wings of legendary producer Quincy Jones, and recently outddid the Beatles and made history by becoming the first British artist to win Grammys for each of his first four albums. Closer to home exciting news too from pianist Fergus McCreadie whose album Forest Floor debuted on the Official Jazz & Blues Albums Chart at No 1, and from young saxophonist Matt Carmichael who has just signed to Edition Records.
