Gary West brings you more high-end performances from the international world of bagpipes, including sets from newly crowned UK pipe band champions, the Field Marshall Montgomery and the most improved band of the season, the Police Scotland Fife. We hear from two of the British army鈥檚 finest pipe majors who are both moving on to pastures new, Peter Macgregor who treats us to some lively strathspeys and reels and Ben Duncan who performs the ancient pibroch, The Battle of the Birds. And there are upbeat tunes from John Dew, David Wilton, Kyle Warren and multi-instrumentalist, Duncan Lyall, as well as a musical pick-me-up from those veterans of the European traditional music scene, Milladoiro from Galicia.
