Writer, actor and comedian Brendan O鈥機arroll chats to Grant about his hit comic creation Mrs Brown and Slow Radio with Honey the Dog

Grant will be in conversation with writer, actor and comedian Brendan O鈥機arroll about his hit comic creation Mrs Brown which is back for a tour this year and Brendan talks about the birth of the idea for Mrs Brown and the inspiration behind the character.

Next month, 主播大秀 Radio 3 will be releasing a news series of 鈥楽low Radio鈥�, the antidote to today鈥檚 frenzied world. The first episode features a day in the life of Honey the Dog who lives in Edinburgh. Honey will join Grant in the studio along with the programme Producer Faith Waddell.

We鈥檒l also be treated to a session from the stunning vocals of Alas de Liona, who hails from a small town in the Mojave Desert, studied at Edinburgh University and made a name for herself performing in pubs. Alas has a gig at Edinburgh鈥檚 Voodoo Rooms on Wednesday evening.

Grant chats to writer and performer Alexis Gregory about his play "Riot Act" created from Alexis鈥� interviews with a survivor of the Stonewall riots; an alternative 鈥�70s drag artist and a 鈥�90s AIDS activist.

Comedian Jay Lafferty is put under the spotlight by Paul English in Getting To Know You.
