Two of cycling鈥檚 greats, Mark Cavendish and Geraint Thomas, were in Warwick for a high-class men鈥檚 road race, while on the athletics track, Scotland鈥檚 Olympic medalist Laura Muir was going for gold in the women鈥檚 1500m, and Max Burgin was hoping to shock Kenya鈥檚 Olympic champion Emmanuel Korir in the men鈥檚 800m.

There were high hopes of success for the home nations in the diving, with the men鈥檚 10m platform and women鈥檚 3m springboard medals decided, and among many team sports finals today, the first women鈥檚 T20 cricket champions were crowned.
