It's National Album Day - and this year the theme is debut albums - so Romesh champions the best first records by artists like NWA, the Beastie Boys and Lil' Kim.

To celebrate National Album Day, and this year's theme of debut albums, Romesh celebrates records from artists who got off to a strong start!

He opens the doors of Ranga's Records and coaxes customers in by playing tracks from debut records by NWA, the Beastie Boys and Lil' Kim.

Then in the Sounds After Party - Rom brings the big hitters from Nas' Illmatic, Missy's Supa Dupa Fly and Madvillainy.
