Dunloy Accordion Band鈥檚 visit to play at War Memorials in France and Belgium, and a story of relations who never came home.

Recalling Dunloy Accordion Band鈥檚 visit to the French and Belgian war memorials - their drum major tells the story of two great-grandfathers who died in WWI but have no grave.

In August, members of Dunloy Accordion Band travelled to France and Belgium to play at the Menin Gate and Theipval. Drum Major Davy Mercy and Kintra team member Diana Culbertson talk about the impact of the visit on them personally. Davy also tells the story of his two great-grandfathers who never returned from the war, one of whom was awarded a Victoria Cross and Military Medal for bravery.
Willie Hill hears from Pol O鈥橣riel about the events planned for Derry and Strabane District Council during Leid Week and completing this week鈥檚 team - Helen Mark, Rab Lennox and Jonnie Crawford.
As always, they all love to hear from listeners with a yarn, song or poem to share - or an Ulster-Scots event to promote or who even just drop a line to say hello and comment on the programme. Why not get in touch at kintra@bbc.co.uk.
