David Dimbleby presents highlights of the National Service of Remembrance from the Cenotaph as the King leads the commemorations for the first time as monarch.

His Majesty is joined on Whitehall by other members of the royal family, the government and the armed forces alongside representatives of the Commonwealth and faith communities. The two-minute silence at 11.00 is followed by wreath laying as the nation remembers all those who died serving their country.

During the historic march past of veterans, Sophie Raworth hears from those marching as they share their own remarkable stories of courage and sacrifice.
