Tom chats to UK producer The Cyclist and Bristol-based Surgeons Girl ahead of her mix in The Ravers Hour.
The Cyclist is the work of Andrew Morrison. His debut album Bending Brass came out in 2011. His critically acclaimed 2013 follow up, Bones In Motion, was the first album released in the collaboration of Leaving Records and Stones Throw Records.
In 2014 Morrison introduced a new alias, Buz Ludzha, via the Love Repetitive Rhythmics 12 inch on All City Records, before returning again as The Cyclist in November to release his next album Flourish. He released the album Sapa Inca Delirium in 2017 and Weather Underground in 2020.
He also runs his own label Tape Throb Records, and is part of the act Affinity Projects, a lo-fi dance-pop project with vocalist Tanaya Harper.
He's just released his STP EP, named after Alexander Shulgin's earliest creations, the notorious DOM.

Surgeons Girl is Sinead McMillan, who works with Analogue hardware, vocals, piano and generative visuals.
She released her debut D A Y M O D E P H A S E EP at the end of 2019, and followed it a year later with the A Violet Sleep EP, her debut on Livity Sound.
She recently released her fourth EP Sever on Lapsus Records.
