Sean was visiting Farmer Wade and he showed him a big book about hens. He started to teach Sean how to call the hens "Here chuck, chuck, chuck" but the modern way is to impersonate the hen.

The conversation continues about broken biscuits.

Mick rings – "Sean I had a cousin who worked in the broken biscuit section of a shop. My friends and I always went there on a Saturday but they were always sold out by the time we would arrive. So we would ask my cousin to break us off a schillings worth"

Eddie texts "When I was at school in South London there was a factory near where my dad worked. We often went to the factory and bought a big bag of broken biscuits! Everyone loved them as they were all so different. I think that the world has not improved in some respects!"

The Bready Bandit addresses Sean has the 'turf thief' and asks him to play 'Steal Away'.

Paddy Digit texts "Yesterday you mentioned about 'stealing' the turf in Donegal. I recall my Dad taking us as a family, to a hotel in Portnablagh for a weekend break in 1969 or 1970. En route, they saw all the stacked turf sitting out. So they stopped and started to load some into the boots of the two cars. Suddenly, a car appeared and the driver stepped out and started to shout at them. He owned it all but Dad sort of charmed him and he got to keep the turf. So we headed on our way and when we arrived at the hotel, guess who was behind the reception desk...... the man who caught Dad with the turf, it turned out he owned the hotel. What about playing 'The Old Bóg Road'?"
