City of Derry Rugby Club's Amelia McFarland talks to Anna Curran on getting a breast cancer diagnosis aged 32 last year and how she is documenting her journey through treatment.
"It's probably nothing but I'll get it checked out anyway', that was the thinking of today's guest City of Derry Rugby Club's Amelia McFarland. Amelia, who is 32 and from Donegal, found a lump in her breast and went to her doctor. Unfortunately, the news wasn't good and Amelia was diagnosed with breast cancer last September. She's been documenting her journey through treatment and says sport, particularly her love of rugby, is helping her through.
