A Donegal based coal company is to create over 30 new jobs on the outskirts of Derry after being given the green light to set up the first factory of its kind in Northern Ireland, making smokeless briquettes. Andrew Coyle Coal Limited will take over the former Maydown Precision Engineering factory in Maydown. The planning application, which has been in the working for several years, was approved by councillors on Wednesday night.
